Ahia

First of all, introduction, Ahia is the Igbo word for Market. Hope you’re doing great? If you are, let me know in the comment section, if you’re not, still let me know πŸ˜‰.

Since today is Thursday, we’re going to call this a throwback post πŸ˜‚. I was going through my journal and I found this πŸ‘‡, something I wrote in the heat of the market last year, the sharer in me started jumping up and down πŸ˜‚.

Today is the twenty sixth day of August in this wonderful year of 2020. It’s a little past 1pm and I’m here in the market, the hustle and bustle is less today, at least I can relax a bit a touch my phone (luxury😁).

The sun is really hot, I’ve taken four sachets of cold water (pure water) already, I don’t usually take plenty water because how to pee in this market is story for another day πŸ˜‚. Anyway, I take water to avoid dehydration, and like the smart girl that I am, I’ve devised a means to pee in the market without fear of infection or invasion of privacy.

Another woman was robbed today, it’s really sad, she had just entered the market, all the way from Ibadan. She had put her purse inside a polythene bag, only to discover that the bag had been slit with a blade and her purse was missing. You should see Market Gist to really catch what I’m talking about here.

I really hope it doesn’t rain, most times when the sun is this hot, it rains towards evening and I’m not even ready to get drenched (baby girl has refused to buy umbrella, she’s looking for raincoat)

So, I’m dropping my phone inside my bag which is always on my body, in front πŸ˜‰, because it’s getting rowdy again and I have to tune up my vigilance… Byeee…..

Apart from keeping pictures to preserve memories, I write too, a lot. This reminds me of how far God has brought me in a few months. Of course someday I’ll share the details here to encourage someone, but not today ☺. Do you love to preserve memories? If yes, kindly let me know how you do so in the comment section, I could learn a thing or even two from you πŸ˜‰.
