Rejoice By Default

Good evening my beloved, today is the first Sunday in the month of July and the thought of it excites me 😊.

Today’s nugget means a lot to me, it is just the reminder that I need with all the challenges that I’m faced with right now.

As long as you have breath, REJOICE!

Philippians 4:4 NIVRejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again :Rejoice!”.

Notice that we were not instructed to rejoice sometimes or when good things happen, or twice a week or only on Sundays, rather we’re told to rejoice always, at all times and in all situations. It should be our default setting.
Don’t allow yourself to get to the point of always carrying a long face, like you’re carrying the world on the head. To the best of your ability, avoid worry, it’s a joy sucker. You should see my previous Don’t Worry.

Jesus has taken our sorrows and brought us into his joy, abundance and peace.
Make it a point of duty to always give thanks and be glad in everything and at all times. Our heavenly father wouldn’t instruct us to do anything He hasn’t given us the ability to accomplish. So when he told us to rejoice always, he knew we could do it.

The Holy Spirit resides in us to help, build, encourage, strengthen, lead and guide us through life. He is our helper and bears us up in those times when we are down and don’t feel like rejoicing.
The best time to rejoice is when you don’t really feel like rejoicing. We can do it because we have the Holy Spirit to help us. Our joy is not tied to people or even situations, even the Bible tells us that we should not put our trust in men. Make rejoicing your lifestyle. Let people see you and know that the Lord is with you.
1 Thessalonians 5 :16-18 NIV “Be joyful always ; pray continually ; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Happy New Month to you, may July be very productive for you. ❤️
