Good day to you beloved and Happy Sunday. I hope your Sunday went well in spite of COVID 19 and all that comes with it. We’re not moved!
To be fortified means to make stronger, let me put it this way; it is making yourself feel stronger or less fearful. There’s a lot going on in the world today, the most trending being the outbreak of the corona virus, this virus has tendencies to and has even injected fear into the minds of so many people around the world, Christians inclusive.
As Christians, we’ve got to strengthen ourselves from the inside, first of all, we are Spirit Beings so we ought to put up more defenses in our spirits through God’s word. We should feed on the word of God much more than we feed on news, rumors and unverified information. Even while we are trying to stay informed, we should also reiterate our consumption of God’s word because what is reported in the news and what is going on in the world today will come and go, but God’s word is what stands forever. Faith comes by hearing the word of God, so if you’re a faith over fear kind of person, you should reduce consumption of fear inducing information and increase consumption of faith inducing materials.
Information is power, get the right news, follow the precautionary measures set out the World Health Organization, but while you’re at it, never loose sight of the fact that come what may, you’re fortified from the inside already, think about it, you’ve got the God on the inside. fortified, stand strong in God’s word and let your heart not be swayed, remember that we have the name of Jesus which is higher than any other name and we should trust in that name at all times because whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe, we also have the world’s greatest armor, The Armor of God.
May God’s word always be the priority in our lives. Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” See you soon dear reader, I love you.
